Audiology
The Division of Audiology at the University of Miami Ear Institute is a state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment center for patients of all ages who may be experiencing hearing and/or balance difficulties. The division offers a comprehensive team approach including the collaborative efforts of Doctors of Audiology, board-certified otologists, a comprehensive NIH-supported Ear Research Group, and a hearing-genetics clinic. Trained in the evaluation and non-medical rehabilitation of hearing and balance disorders, we are committed to providing the latest advancements in technology and hearing health care.

Diagnostic Services
- Comprehensive hearing evaluations for adults and children

Comprehensive Vestibular/Balance Function Evaluations
- Assessment of the peripheral and central balance system for patients experiencing dizziness, vertigo or imbalance
Comprehensive Tinnitus Evaluation and Management Services
- Assessment of tinnitus for patients experiencing disturbing ringing noises in their ear(s)
- Rehabilitation services, counseling, and assistive devices for appropriate candidates
